Su: Could not find the one I had posted on the other board, so, not sure about the Woerstshire sauce, but, I am sure that or Soy sauce would be good to add at serving time.
Ingredients 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped finely 1/2 cup white onion, chopped finely 1/2 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic 2 (4 ounce) cans of mushrooms with juice 3 cups chicken broth 1 cup heavy cream 5 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed salt and pepper to taste
Directions 1Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add bell pepper and onion and sautee until soft. 2Add garlic and cook for a minute. 3Add flour to mixture and cook until bubbly. 4Add mushrooms with juice and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes or until thick. 5Reduce heat. Stir in chicken and cream and add salt and pepper to taste. 6Serve over toast, egg noodles, or Pilsbury Grand biscuits.
