Those are excellent Su !
Timely tip as the corn harvest is has begun, and there's an electric carving knife in the garage, (hubby uses it to cut foam and stuff, lol) I will be trying that one very soon, got bundt pan too!
I picked up a corn silk brush much like this, one with plastic softish bristles. It was $2. Much better than the old fashion whisk broom one I had. Doesn't bruise the kernals. It works great on cleaning garlic too.
With all this produce to harvest I am INTO time and hand saving tips and ideas.
Love the ketchup bottle pancake batter idea too. I sent that to my daughter, they make lots of pancakes and use the big bottles of ketchup. That will make designer pancakes much easier too.

I saw this idea and thought it was pretty good. Rice and other small grained dry goods would be great in this.

I hate those extra pieces of plastic packaging. Now I might just learn to appreciate them! If so, you will have have positively converted my mind set.
