My Mom's basic recipe (my tweaks added)
1 can cream style corn 1 can whole kernel corn -drained 2 beaten eggs 1/2 cup milk (it calls for whole milk, I use 2%) 3 scant Tablespoons sugar ( I use brown sugar or Jaggery ) 1 teaspoon salt ( use 1/2 that) 1/8 tsp ground pepper 2 Tablespoons flour (I use sorghum flour to make it gluten free) 2 Tablespoons melted butter (or ghee)
combine ingredients, (I do it right in the casserole dish)
Sprinkle on top:
6 soda or ritz crackers, crushed. (We use crushed corn tortilla chips)
Bake at 350 for one hour.

Ooh ,this sounds so good ,i just might steal it ! Try it, you might like it, most people do. It's easy, though I now use the corn we grow and make my own creamed corn.
