The beauty of all of this is I get to decide what to eat and what I want to buy .But hey ,if you want to believe the bull you are pushing ,far be it from me to destroy your rich fantasy life! I'm sorry , you don't live in this house ,so you don't get a vote on what gets bought now do you ?    |

Speaking of meatloaf, I gotta go pick him up next week. He'll be so purtty in his little white outfits.
Mom used to watch for sales on round steak, the full round with the bone, buy that and make her own ground round. Doing that way was better meat, less fat, and usually no more and sometimes less than hamburger. Do you grind your own meat? I have my Mom's old meat grinder. She used to make ground round and all kinds of sausage meats, as did my Grandma. I should give it a whirl, or crank! lol. No don't have to since I send my own to the butcher. They make up some nice lean hamburger. |

You are absolutely right you get to choose what you eat. However, what we are saying about tube meat, beef or turkey is true. It is a very nasty product. A few cents more a pound from a butcher is not only much healthier, but tastes much better too. But with your recipe for meatloaf I suppose you could put in ground up roadkill and it would not effect the taste. I'm sorry , you don't live in this house ,so you don't get a vote on what gets bought now do you ? |

That is just me, perhaps others are all for them being posted here. |
